Longyue Jiuchen, Chongqing

The project is located in the Yuelai area of Yubei District, Chongqing, directly above the Wangjiazhuang Light Rail TOD hub. Its landscape design is themed "Carving Jade with Water: A Landscape Painting," drawing inspiration from the composition of mountains, water, courtyards, and gardens depicted in the classic Painting of the Garden of Solitary Joy (Du Le Yuan Tu). By integrating the various forms of water portrayed in the painting into the courtyard spaces, the design creates a series of distinctive water-themed spatial experiences. Furthermore, the project follows the design principles of the client’s Song-style product line, featuring a ceremonial axis, a sequence of three courtyards and nine thematic chapters, and twelve signature landscape experiences. Together, they create a residential environment that is livable, walkable, and visually engaging, fostering a modern quiet luxury lifestyle rooted in Eastern aesthetics.
