Park Peninsula Mansion, Meishan

The essence of Meishan is embodied in the literary legacy of the three renowned Song Dynasty writers—Xun Su, Shi Su, and Che Su and shaped by the flowing waters of the Minjiang River. Spanning more than a millennium, this cultural heritage, rooted in literature and calligraphy, defines the spirit of the place. The design begins by balancing integration with distinction. Treating Taihe Park as its canvas and the Minjiang River as its guiding thread, the project draws upon the river’s vitality and the site’s ecological background. Water serves as the organizing element, dissolving physical boundaries and connecting the urban environment with the natural landscape of Taihe Park. Architecture, landscape, and daily life are woven into a whole, creating an Oriental aesthetic sanctuary that grows naturally within the residence.
