Centered on the core design philosophy of “coexistence of the old and new, dialogue across time and space”, the exhibition hall adopts original railway‑related elements including rail textures, platform corridors and locomotive components. Four interactive facilities are installed, including a herringbone‑shaped dynamic sand table and a high‑speed‑train driving simulator. Multiple documentary multimedia videos are also applied. With technologies breathing life into history, static cultural relics are transformed into accessible and interactive chronological narratives. It comprehensively demonstrates the evolution of the Beijing‑Suiyuan Railway from a century‑old steam‑powered route to a modern high‑speed rail network.
