Howow House

Designed for a newlywed couple expecting their first child, this residence was conceived as a safe, intelligent, and nurturing home for a growing family. Rather than simply creating a beautiful interior, the project focuses on supporting everyday life by providing a secure environment where the child can freely explore, learn, and develop creativity through daily experiences.

Curved architectural elements define the interior language of the home. Beyond their elegant visual appeal, the continuous rounded forms eliminate sharp corners and improve safety throughout the living environment. Each curve has been carefully integrated to enhance spatial flow, strengthen visual continuity, and create a calm, harmonious atmosphere that encourages comfortable family living.

At the heart of the project is family-centered living. Open and connected communal areas encourage interaction and shared experiences, while comfortable private spaces respond to different moments of daily family life. Materials, proportions, and details are carefully considered to create an environment that feels warm, secure, and adaptable as the family grows.

An integrated smart home system further enhances everyday convenience and security. Lighting, curtains, air conditioning, appliances, and security systems are seamlessly connected and accessible through smartphone control, allowing technology to support the family intuitively without disrupting the interior aesthetics.

Personalized functionality responds closely to the homeowners’ routines and interests. From restful bedroom spaces to dedicated areas for displaying cherished collections, practical functions are integrated with personal expression, giving each corner a distinct purpose and identity.

The design also emphasizes an indoor–outdoor connection by preserving and revitalizing the existing terrace. Through landscaping and spatial refinement, the terrace becomes an extension of daily living, bringing greenery, natural light, and openness into the home. Together, these elements create a thoughtful residence where safety, technology, individuality, and family life are seamlessly intertwined.
