About The Entry
Reimagining conventional residential landscape paradigms, the project merges Eastern secluded aesthetics with contemporary urban minimalism. Centered on the design vision of “Green Canyon, Urban Peachland”, it establishes a refined natural retreat within the bustling city. Strategic terrain elevation and mature tree enclosures at the entrance craft a secluded, exclusive precinct, filtering urban din and framing a serene, ritualistic homecoming experience.
Capitalizing on the nearly 7-meter vertical drop of the entrance sunken courtyard, the design sculpts a terraced canyon landscape. Curated rare specimen trees, stacked stone formations and cascading water features emulate authentic mountain valley textures, unfolding a vivid three-dimensional scroll of layered ridges and flowing waters. Terraced gardens and vertical ecological belts interconnect key landscape nodes via rhythmic step sequences, creating rich vertical spatial layers and a dynamic walk-through experience. This approach thoroughly dissolves the rigid boundaries and oppressive perception typical of traditional sunken courtyards.
Adopting a streamlined north-south building layout, the project pioneers a boundless landscape strategy that erases the physical divide between architecture and nature. Outdoor greenery fluidly extends into elevated overhead floors, enabling seamless indoor-outdoor integration, continuous sightlines and an expansive, immersive spatial rhythm across the entire community.
Balancing artistic ambiance and human-centric functionality, the landscape integrates scattered pavilions and resting terraces within the poetic natural setting, unifying scenic aesthetics and daily usability. Within constrained urban site boundaries, the design delivers a multi-layered, spatially rich mountain-water habitat. It ultimately achieves a premium residential atmosphere of urban seclusion — tranquility at home, vitality at hand, and nature embedded in everyday life.
