About The Entry
Growing up is often described as leaving childhood behind. Yet adulthood is rarely a destination. It is an ongoing negotiation between expectation and identity, between who society asks us to become and who we choose to remain. "Almost Somewhere" reflects this uncertain territory through contemporary menswear. Each look represents a different interpretation of masculinity: from timeless tailoring to playful styling, from formal elegance to reconstructed sustainable garments made from production leftovers. Rather than presenting a single ideal, the collection embraces contradiction.
The suit appears not as a uniform of adulthood but as a medium for self-expression. It can carry discipline without suppressing spontaneity, responsibility without sacrificing curiosity, elegance without abandoning individuality. Even moments of play, movement and physical exercise become part of the narrative, questioning why maturity is so often associated with emotional restraint.
Some of the garments is constructed entirely from tailoring offcuts generated during the making of conventional suits. Instead of concealing fashion's waste, the collection transforms it into a visible design language. These fragmented surfaces become a metaphor for identity itself: assembled gradually from experiences, memories, expectations and personal choices. "Almost Somewhere" suggests that becoming a man is not about arriving at a fixed definition of masculinity. It is about allowing identity to remain open, evolving and authentic, carrying fragments of childhood without being confined by them.
