About The Entry

【Design Concept】 Situated in a high-rise building, the home enjoys expansive panoramic views and abundant natural daylight. A restrained palette of gray wallcoverings, timber hues, and stone accents establishes a calm, understated backdrop. Natural elements such as stone patterns, rock formations, rippling water, and leaf veins echo the surrounding landscape, connecting interior spaces with the outdoors. To fully embrace the panoramic view, the design reconsiders the relationship between furnishings, sightlines, and traffic flows. Low furniture, an open-plan layout, and extended visual axes allow the residents to enjoy the view from every corner of the home, creating a living environment that balances the dynamic flow of the surrounding landscape with a deep sense of tranquility. 【Functionality】 The entryway is anchored by wallcoverings depicting stunning creatures in the forest, establishing a dramatic visual focal point. Inspired by the gentle movement of water, the textured surface on the ceiling catches and reflects light to create a soft, ever-changing visual effect. The dark-toned timber accents enclose the space in warmth, creating a subtle threshold that eases the transition from the bustling city to the calm home. This serene environment allows residents to find a sense of inner peace. The TV wall pairs cool-toned metallic materials with translucent stone accents. By utilizing materials with different textures helps to create a sense of tension and contrast. The composition is harmonized by the transparency of a glass display cabinet, which introduces visual lightness and layered depth. To counterbalance the richness of the material palette, the remaining elevations are expressed with deliberate restraint. Expanses of timber, textured finishes, and concealed doors create a calm and cohesive backdrop, allowing the elements to stand out without overwhelming the space. Thoughtfully curated furnishings and intentional negative space show how purposeful emptiness improves proportion and strengthens the clarity of a room. This careful balance creates an atmosphere of sophistication where elegance emerges through restraint.
