The Purr-Tour Bus

ICat Wanderer Bus House is a modular cat house designed around the concepts of shared space and sustainable materials. Inspired by the form of a city bus, the design consists of three independently usable cat houses that can function separately as resting, hiding, and play spaces, or be assembled together to create a large bus-shaped cat habitat. This modular approach enhances both user interaction and spatial flexibility.

The design incorporates perforated openings, transparent passages, elevated platforms, peek-out windows, and three-dimensional cat-shaped locking components that reinforce structural stability while encouraging exploration and physical activity. These features enrich the cats’ play experience while allowing the product to serve as an aesthetically pleasing interior furnishing.

The DIY assembly structure reduces transportation volume and storage requirements, improving convenience for users. Compared with conventional fixed-form cat houses, the design offers multiple configuration possibilities and future expandability, allowing a single product to adapt to changing needs. This approach addresses the challenges of limited living space while promoting sustainable design principles.

Constructed from recyclable honeycomb paper, the product is lightweight, durable, and fully compatible with existing recycling systems. Compared to conventional plastic or wooden pet furniture, it significantly reduces material consumption and waste generation, providing an environmentally responsible and sustainable solution for modern pet owners.
