Summary of the highlights of the Hefei West Railway Station project: The station building's overall design is guided by the conceptual theme of "Great Lake Cloud Sail, Technological Ark," with the "Great Lake" and "Technology" as its core cultural elements. These incorporate three major thematic cultural elements: the waves of the Great Lake, the pulse of technology, and the Modern Huizhou architectural style. The "Great Lake waves" motif is applied in the waiting hall and the entrance plaza; the "Modern Huizhou style" is featured on the exit level; while the "technological pulse" permeates throughout the entire station. Additionally, decorative cultural elements—including water droplets, chips, green lotus flowers, the city flower—grape, and a smart matrix—are integrated into various parts of the station building according to their respective spatial characteristics, embodying the principle of diverse yet unified design across different spaces. The overall color scheme of the station building primarily adopts the "Huizhou-style palette" (black, white, and gray), with accents of green lotus color used in specific areas.
