“Luminous Serenity: A Home Woven with Curves and Warmth”

This project centers on light, curvilinear forms, and warm textures, carving out a serene and layered private sanctuary amid the bustle of the urban high-rise. The design seeks to break the cold rigidity of traditional right-angled spaces; through curved ceilings, undulating upholstered wall panels, and fluid circulation paths, architectural lines unfold like flowing water, granting the home a more intimate, embracing quality.

In terms of materiality and color, the space is grounded in low-saturation beige-grays, warm apricot tones, and light wood finishes, anchored by a deep moss-green dimensional feature wall in the bedroom that serves as a visual focal point. Plush throws, leather sofas, and textured drapery intertwine to create rich tactile layers, echoing the design intent of “tender dwelling.” Light acts as the soul that threads the entire residence together—recessed ambient glows within display cabinets and bookshelves, focused task lighting from pendants, and the soft diffusion of natural light through dual-layered sheers collectively choreograph a play of light and shadow that shifts with the time of day, allowing the home to breathe gently across changing hours.
