BUBBLE

The sphere is one of nature’s most elemental forms. Present from cells to celestial bodies, it represents origin, balance, and continuity. It is from this essential geometry that Bubble is born — a piece that investigates how a single form can create different functions and experiences within contemporary design.

Composed of four spheres in stainless steel and glass, Bubble brings together sculpture, functionality, and ritual. More than a container, it works as a system for preparing, storing, and serving two beverages simultaneously, while keeping flavors and aromas independent.

The two main spheres establish a relationship of contrast between transparency and reflection. The glass sphere reveals its beverage: fruits, herbs, ice, colors, and infusions become part of the visual composition and continuously transform the object’s appearance. With each recipe, a new Bubble emerges. Together, the two spheres have a total capacity of 7 liters, allowing the piece to move from residential use to higher-flow contexts, such as party tables, restaurants, and hotels.

Each sphere has its own ingredient-retention system and conducts the beverage through an independent circuit. The two flows remain separate until reaching a single tap, designed to serve the liquid from each sphere individually, without mixing the flavors. The technical complexity remains inside, while externally the simplicity of the form prevails.

Detachable, Bubble uses stainless steel fittings with silicone sealing, facilitating assembly, cleaning, maintenance, and component replacement. Its base incorporates an internal counterweight that provides stability to the composition.

Conceived in durable and recyclable materials, Bubble encourages the preparation of flavored waters, juices, and infusions, valuing reuse and potentially reducing dependence on beverages in individual packaging.

When empty, Bubble is a countertop sculpture. When filled, it comes to life: liquids, ingredients, reflections, and transparencies continuously transform its presence. Bubble proposes a new understanding of beverage containers: not merely utensils, but architectural elements of the table and the environment, in which functionality, sustainability, and sculptural expression coexist, transforming the everyday gesture of preparing and serving a beverage into a design experience.
