About The Entry

Trinity

An intelligent tennis training system designed around the objects players already use.

For recreational tennis players, improvement often happens between moments of feedback. A coach may identify a problem during a lesson, but once the player returns to solo practice, progress depends on memory, repetition, and guesswork. Existing tennis technologies can record performance, but data alone rarely answers the most important question: what should I train next?

Trinity is a dual-sensor tennis coaching system that transforms racket motion, body response, and impact vibration into one intelligent coaching loop. The system is built around two familiar tennis objects: a racket dampener and a wristband. The racket module sits naturally in the string bed, capturing swing angle, amplitude, and impact vibration without changing the player’s routine. The wristband reads arm movement, heart-rate response, and training load, while also serving as the charging dock for the removable racket module after practice.

Together, the two modules create a richer understanding of each stroke. The racket reveals what happens at the point of contact; the wristband reveals how the body produces it. Trinity brings both signals into a mobile experience that does more than display data. It interprets patterns, identifies the constraint behind the numbers, and recommends a focused next drill.

The UX is designed to feel like a quiet coach rather than a performance dashboard. Before practice, the app sets a clear training focus. During play, the sensors capture motion in the background. After practice, the app answers three simple questions: how did I perform, what held me back, and what should I practice next?

Trinity’s industrial design language is soft, precise, and recognizable. Its tennis-green CMF, soft-touch surfaces, subtle markings, and glanceable status bar make sensing feel natural on court and refined off court. Trinity is not designed to add more noise to training. It turns everyday practice into a clearer path toward improvement.
