Here, design is an act of cultural reawakening: “Gilded Phoenix Plumes” captures the molten glow of a Helan sunset. Beneath its burnished texture, the raw, enigmatic spirit of ancient petroglyphs emerges, allowing the thousand-year-old phoenix song of Yinchuan to resonate anew within the space.

Upon entering the reception foyer, one is greeted by a sweeping landscape scroll. Artistic wall installations and bespoke furnishings trace the form of the phoenix through fluid, undulating lines—a homage to Yinchuan’s ancient legend as the “City of the Phoenix”—establishing an immediate impression of noble mystery.

The wall design draws from the rippling patterns of the Yellow River, employing contemporary materials to channel the river’s surging momentum. Lighting fixtures glisten like crystalline droplets, reflecting the poetic grace of the “Lake City.” Soft furnishings, themed around blooming flora, feature layered petals that recall a phoenix in flight; their iridescent sheen mirrors the shimmering waters of Yinchuan. Together, they forge a living, breathing tableau—melding the auspicious omen of the “Phoenix Soaring Across the Realm” with the vibrant vitality of the “Myriad Visions of the Lake City.”

As the sixth chapter in this national series, Yinchuan stands as the singular Northwestern masterpiece of the Jia San lineage. Here, the light-luxe sensibility of Shanghai converges with the distinctive grandeur of Yinchuan’s mountains and rivers—a space that, in its very form, pays homage to the heart of the city and the return home.
