CENTRAL MANSION

Located in the Zhanggong District of Ganzhou, the site features over a hundred native camphor trees standing tall, serving as the community's most cherished spiritual symbol. Grounded in the concept of "Beneath the Trees, Among Neighbors," the design draws emotional inspiration from everyday moments—such as playing chess or children frolicking in the cool shade—and transforms the heartwarming memories nurtured by these ancient trees into a spatial narrative. Structured around six emotional themes—Explore, Gaze, Dwell, Savor, Play, and Return—the design extends the happiness of life beneath the trees, fostering a harmonious coexistence between nature and daily living.

Diverse settings are created around the ancient trees, where leisure and socializing, all-age activities, tranquil gardens, and stream-like water features blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. Enveloped in warmth, the community becomes a sanctuary—a place "beneath the big trees" where residents can shed their worries and reconnect with their authentic selves.

With a natural color palette as its foundation, the design employs a modern architectural language to integrate the legacy of the ancient trees. The result is a community defined by "affordable luxury" aesthetics—blending elegance, nature, and high-quality texture—allowing the lifestyle nurtured by these ancient camphor trees to find new vitality in the contemporary era.
