Urban Oasis: A Contemporary Courtyard Community

This residential community is conceived as an extension of the city’s vitality into a landscape of nature. Six mid-rise residential blocks are arranged around a central green courtyard, creating a balanced transition between the surrounding urban streets and the natural woodland beyond.

Rather than treating the buildings as isolated objects, the design establishes a continuous sequence of public, semi-public and private spaces. A sunken courtyard connects with an elevated landscape platform, bringing greenery into the heart of the community and creating a layered experience of gardens, walkways, terraces and communal spaces. The central landscape becomes the social focus of the development, while carefully positioned entrances and pedestrian routes strengthen its connection with the city.

The architectural language combines contemporary simplicity with refined classical proportions. Deep balconies, articulated façades, metal details and glazed elements create a rhythm that changes subtly across the building elevations. Rounded corners and carefully framed openings soften the scale of the residential blocks, while the combination of greenery, warm-toned materials and grey architectural elements creates a calm and sophisticated identity.

Sustainability is integrated into the overall design through extensive landscape areas, planted roof terraces and photovoltaic panels. The result is a residential environment that balances urban density with access to nature, creating a contemporary community that is connected, welcoming and deeply rooted in its landscape.
