The Inhabited Ridge

Redefines high-density urban living by translating Los Angeles’ iconic hillside stairways into a dynamic, inhabited architectural landscape. By scaling up the traditional stair and bringing the roofscape down to the ground, the project integrates modular courtyard housing with continuous, walkable roof paths. It breaks the confines of traditional concrete high-rises, offering residents an immersive, mountain-like journey through public, shared, and private micro-climates.
