About The Entry
YOYO Intelligent Enlightenment Robot serves families with children aged 12 to 36 months, centering on the idea of "technology assisting, not replacing, parents". Given that children at this stage have not yet developed full language ability or screen‑based operation skills, it uses voice, expressions, and lights to turn their fragmented utterances and choices into personalized stories. It sparks language and imagination in children through story co‑creation, emotional responsiveness, and time awareness.
Its dual-mode story framework blends the predictability of fixed stories with the flexibility of AI co-creation—making it possible for children who can't yet speak in full sentences to immerse themselves in a story with a single word and see it come to life. It establishes a new approach with its "bounded companionship" design: no scoring, no pressing, no endless looping—alerting parents when a child is upset, and leaving both intervention and closure to them.
Visually, YOYO embodies restraint yet approachability. It uses smooth large rounded surfaces and highly skin‑friendly, rigorously compliant eco‑materials—recycled ABS and food‑grade silicone—to eliminate the uninviting feel of tech devices, giving it the refined, artisanal quality of a home object. Its front face moves beyond complex interfaces, featuring minimalist animated eyes and a breathing light that communicate emotions at a glance—making interaction intuitive even for the youngest toddlers.
