About The Entry

A Gallery Beyond Gallery

Located in Ningbo's Sixth Space, this dual-brand flagship showroom for luxury solid-wood furniture brands M77 + MIRACOLO is designed by FEN+ DESIGN (Zhang Qifeng Interior Design Studio). Going beyond traditional formulaic display conventions, the showroom is conceived around "boundless dwelling and immersive living scenarios." Merging contemporary, soft French, and mid-century aesthetics, it reinterprets the spatial experience of high-end custom solid-wood interiors.

Here, light is never merely illumination—it is the core spatial medium, integrating Eastern spatial philosophy with state-of-the-art smart-lighting technology. It eliminates the contrived artifice of artificial light to achieve organic synergy among scenery, light, occupants, and ambiance, allowing the supple tactile quality of bespoke timber to emerge as the unassuming focal point.

Guided by the tenet "conceal light within context, shape form through light," a minimalist low-aperture luminaire system is deployed. Precision-aimed spotlights deliver accent lighting, complemented by diffused linear luminaires and ambient decorative fixtures. Working with an intelligent lighting control system, they compose layered point-line-plane lightscapes alongside practice-oriented residential lighting scenes. High-CRI, high-R9 warm-white sources render natural wood grain with utmost fidelity, while restrained ambient light steers visual emphasis firmly toward timber texture.

The smart-lighting ecosystem choreographs motor-operated doors and motor-lifted artistic pendants into occupant-responsive dynamic lighting scenes—light follows inhabitants intuitively. Meticulously calibrated luminaire optics reconcile minimalist ceiling aesthetics, spatial perception, and lighting performance, standing as a testament to the fusion of technology and emotion—where every fixture is a synthesis of form, function, and imagination in refined residential lighting.
