About The Entry
Designed for male urban professionals navigating office, commuting, and social settings, this polo shirt redefines the category across three core pillars: material, structure, and silhouette.
Functional design starts at the fiber level. Titanium dioxide and mineral compounds are integrated directly into the yarn during spinning, giving the fabric inherent UV protection, easy-stain release, and 3A-grade antibacterial performance. This approach also ensures the functionality remains stable and durable over time. High-loft functional yarns boost opacity while maintaining a lightweight, soft feel, effectively addressing the sheerness issue common in light-colored polo shirts. Paired with moisture-wicking and intelligent thermoregulating finishes, the fabric delivers balanced management of body heat and moisture.
The structural design draws inspiration from the varying density of celestial bodies in the night sky, translating this natural order into a refined perforation system across the back. Perforation density is calibrated to the body’s thermal zones — denser in high-heat areas like the back and underarms to boost heat dissipation, with strategic negative space elsewhere. This turns a purely functional feature into a natural, ordered visual language.
Drawing inspiration from the sharp folds of urban architecture, the original collar features custom-shaped decorative bonding, with geometric contours that give the traditional polo collar a fresh new expression. Combined with a hidden shaping technique, the collar maintains a crisp, stable form, creating a visual identity that blends polish business style with subtle technical refinement.
