About The Entry

As AI moves closer to everyday professional work, developers, data specialists and creators increasingly need computing that can be controlled and used directly at their own desks. Therefore, CHUWI UniBox AI Series brings advanced AI capability into a compact desktop system, allowing model development, inference and creative work to take place locally rather than relying entirely on remote infrastructure.

An integrated aluminium-alloy X-frame extends across the front and sides of the enclosure, forming the most recognisable feature of the design. The X motif suggests the unknown and the variable associated with AI computing, while its strong geometric structure gives the product a more professional, powerful and stable visual character. The angular metal frame defines the compact square body and creates a clear structural rhythm. Silver aluminium contrasts with black ventilation grilles and interface panels, clearly separating the outer frame from the computing core. At 209.6 × 209.6 × 67 mm, the low-profile body maintains a strong desktop presence without the bulk of a conventional workstation tower.

The system can run large language models locally, including models with up to 300 billion parameters at 4-bit quantisation, allowing model inputs and working data to remain on the device without cloud processing.

The 16-core, 32-thread AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 platform delivers up to 131 TOPS of system AI performance, while Radeon 8065S graphics support AI development, professional creation and high-frame-rate 1080p gaming.

Dual 10Gbps Ethernet, OCuLink and two 40Gbps USB4 ports provide high-speed connections for networks, external graphics and professional peripherals.

Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support to reduce setup time before local inference, model fine-tuning and everyday work. Fingerprint recognition enables one-touch wake and unlock, providing faster access while helping protect local data and user privacy.
