CCCC Xiamen Wenlan Tianyue

Located in Xiamen, the project draws inspiration from the theme “Blossoming Years, Shanghai Elegance,” creating an upscale urban social lounge that integrates art exhibition, cultural socializing, private dining, leisure and sports. It reinterprets the city’s natural character and cultural heritage through a contemporary design language, balancing refined luxury with comfort and humanistic care.

The design explores Xiamen’s cultural identity through three traditional crafts: bead embroidery, lacquer thread sculpture and mother-of-pearl inlay. Their intricate textures, meticulous craftsmanship and iridescent finishes are translated into spatial details, while architectural elements from Gulangyu’s century-old buildings introduce regional memories. This dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics establishes a distinctive cultural character.

Natural hues form the foundation of the palette, complemented by tile red and tea green to create a balance between cultural depth and natural vitality. Leather, premium stone and textured metal finishes define the material language, while carefully composed lighting, reflective surfaces and layered textures enrich the sensory experience.

The clubhouse combines nostalgic Shanghai-style elegance with diverse social settings. The banquet and private dining areas feature vintage marble, metal chandeliers, embroidered seating and sculptural cabinetry incorporating intangible cultural heritage techniques. The tea lounge provides a relaxed setting for conversation, while the chess rooms and activity areas blend vintage furnishings, floral motifs and distinctive stone and crystal accents to create intimate yet sophisticated leisure environments.

The swimming pool and changing areas introduce a more tranquil atmosphere through elegant furnishings, botanical artworks and illuminated crystal details. The reception area establishes a grand first impression with an arched hammered counter, floral pendant lighting and sculptural installations. Floral artworks inspired by Xiamen’s city flower further reinforce the connection to local identity.

The fitness and yoga facilities integrate professional equipment with carefully planned functional zones, while sound-healing elements in the yoga room enhance relaxation. Across the clubhouse, consistent material choices, lighting details and logo-inspired elements unify the varied spaces into a cohesive environment where cultural heritage, contemporary luxury and everyday well-being converge.
