Zhangzhou C&D TIANRUI

Rooted in the riverside cultural context of Zhangzhou, this project merges the refined ethos of the Song Dynasty with authentic Minnan traditions to craft a contemporary oriental interior residence. It reinterprets local cultural motifs including Minnan ancient dwellings, the Jiulong River, Maritime Silk Road legacy, Zhangzhou kiln art, Zhangzhou embroidery and motherofpearl intangible heritage through modern design language.

Adopting symmetrical ritual layouts and interior framedview facades, the design brings courtyard scenery into the indoor visual field. Art scrolls and gilded installations echo regional history. The space balances quiet social zones and lively amenities: tea chambers embrace local Kungfu tea culture, while the gym and indoor pool achieve a harmonious balance of serenity and dynamism.

Blurring indooroutdoor visual boundaries, the project embeds regional heritage into materials, light and artworks. It transforms classical elegance into accessible daily life, presenting a highend social interior residence deeply rooted in Zhangzhou’s local culture.
