Walk past the screen, and breathe in the fresh scent of lush greenery. An octagonal pavilion sits at the heart of the water, modelled after the Guanlan Pavilion in Kaiping Liyuan Garden. Its reflection sinks into the pond; soft ripples spread outward, unfolding the poetic charm of the garden. Standing beneath the pavilion, light and shadow weave and flicker all around.

Western gardens and Lingnan landscapes meet here, bridging the divide of time and space. The gilded mural in the grand hall centres on the architectural silhouette of the Liang Qichao Memorial Hall.

Roman colonnades, Byzantine domes and Baroque pediments… Eyes that have seen the wider world bring all these beauties back to this homeland. Open and inclusive, its cultural roots endure. Step under the eaves, where grey bricks and tiled roofs greet you. This space draws inspiration from Liang Qichao’s Yitang Study, inviting the integrity of traditional scholars into this home.

This is not merely a community academy, but a beacon of humanistic spirit. Ancient books are displayed here, letting the local cultural heritage flow on quietly. Ornate carvings on the domed ceiling and gilded display cabinets trace romantic silhouettes. Sheltered by green canopies, they set the scene for warm, easy conversations. On the boxing ring, sweat and focus collide. Inside the basketball court, players plan and execute every jump shot. The spiralling red staircase leads the way home; every step extends a quiet warmth.
