About The Entry
Mujing Highland Black Pottery Tea Sets a ceramic tea ware collection inspired by traditional bull totem culture.
The teapot adopts a minimalist spherical body matched with an elegant large lifting handle. The smooth rounded silhouette delivers a calm, restrained texture. The cups integrate abstract bull-horn totem elements. Instead of figurative carving, the design extracts the outline of bull horns and embeds it subtly on the cup surface, balancing traditional totem culture and contemporary minimal aesthetics.
The whole set retains the matte textured black ceramic finish, highlighting handcrafted tactile quality. It preserves the ritual of Chinese tea drinking while simplifying redundant decorative details. The totem is presented in a restrained way, making cultural symbols quietly blend into daily tea rituals.
This is a conceptual ceramic design. Material firing process, mould making and practical usability still need to be tested and verified in prototype development.
