Hunan Changsha Meixi Lake Club

Located in the Changsha Meixi Lake Park, Hunan Province, this case is a single small building surrounded by natural forest on three sides. Based on the features of the building, its surroundings and the current trend of catering industry, the designer has made a comprehensive analysis and renovation of the building, to transform it into a modern and fashionable place where people can interact and dine together.

On account of the building’s small area, the designer tries to extend the space visually. The facade of the building is separated by glass, which obfuscates the boundary between the indoors and the outdoors to lead the park landscape inside. Visitors walking around the park can also catch sight of the indoor activities, reaching the effect of integration of the landscape, the building and the indoors.
