Geometry of Light

As a living space ages with time, we wish to renew it by means of a professional designer’s expertise, giving new life to the space and making it exquisite and timeless for our family living in it.
It is a once-bland four-story corner house. Its makeover features multi-layer, multi-facet patios and windows, fair-faced concrete, and grayish white stone-vein walls paired with the patios’ glass curtain walls, making it look grand and solid. Like a personal fortress full of life, with ingenuity it ushers in fresh air and sunlight, maximizing light on its phototropic faces and making the space even more spacious.
The flow begins with an entrance characterized by uneven geometric lines, paired with marble veins in white and gray tones and titanium-plated trims as a finishing touch. Together with parallel double LED light belts, these delicate lines make the space not only stylish but also bright and mellow.
In the living-dining-room area, the dining table and chairs feature a blend of marble, hardwood and lozenge-pattern leather. Mirrors and glass reflect natural and indirect light, while neat lines of lighting enrich layers of the space and endow it with energy and vitality.
The sophisticated ceiling and cabinetry bring reassuring order and a warm vibe to the residence. Streamlined illumination adds to the modern style a post-modernist touch when tied with partial classical architectural imagery.
The bedrooms share the same sleek design and full functionality, featuring beige and light wood veins embellished with metal frames and linear lights, which enhance the sense of space vertically and horizontally, integrating a techy feel into the mellow space and making it look both classical and modern.
With a unique plan and reorganization, the old building is reshaped and transformed into a square, open one with accessibility. In this way, the three-generational family can share a wonderful life together, not merely optimizing used square footage and natural light but passing down to the entire family an even greater sense of happiness as well.
