Sipping English tea in the sunshine, taking a nap in the afternoon on the couch, and savoring a moment of leisurely living. Returning home is like walking into an exotic cafe. “The space is a secret base for me, my family, and my cat.” This spatial aspiration is the core value of the designer, who hopes to bring the client a completely different chapter of life through the design. 1. Through the combination of English wallpaper, tiles, and Moorland tones, along with English soft furnishings and laminates, the designer filled the space with an elegant blend of modern Chinese and English colonial styles, which is the theme of this space. 2. To enlarge the space and enhance the atmosphere of the family, the designer reconfigured the layout of the space. The designer reduced the size of the private area and enlarged the public area of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. At the same time, the designer divided the kitchen into two parts: inside and outside. This way, the space is enlarged and the living function is more diversified. 3. The planning of the exclusive area for cats was also a key focus, especially in the public area. The designer created a unique playground for cats through cat trees, a large platform on TV cabinets, and cat caves. 4. Given the client's extensive foreign collection, the designer created a more versatile storage space with system cabinets of different colors and shapes. In this way, the client's collection can be harmoniously integrated with the space design.
