Nanjing Merchants Center – Extreme Realm

The project is located in Xuanwu New District, Nanjing, China, with convenient traffic and complete supporting facilities.

The design took into account of the profound cultural heritage of the site, tried to achieve the resonance between the modern city and the ancient capital, and integrate the humanistic connotation into the site. To convey the beauty of the city and the experience of living here, the entrance landscape and architectural design were integrated, and the magnificent black golden color was used in the overall design.

Some materials used for interiors were used in the landscape, such as Madrid grey imitation stone PC tiles, so as to let residents feel at home when they were in outdoor spaces.

How to distinguish from other projects, how to solve the height difference between the site and the municipal road, how to establish an emotional and spatial connection between the building and the city, how to solve the functional problems now and future, were the most important challenges we faced.

The landscape design focused on the locality of the project, and aimed to create an impressive urban interface. The indoors shows exquisite living experience, while the outdoors creates a private atmosphere in the city, magnificent and calm.

It provides residents with a safe and attractive open space that promotes the health and well-being of the community and brings pride, belonging and a spirit of place to the community.

The combination of traditional Chinese aesthetics and contemporary life aesthetics is the design highlight of the site. The ancient culture of Naning will be inherited and the life scene of Nanjing's hidden and precious life will be recurred.
