Wenzhou Kean University

"Wenzhou-Kean University is the first Sino-American Cooperative University established by Zhejiang Province.



The design is inspired by the concept of alleys and streets. The open communication space between the buildings is similar to Hutong and aims to build a warm, open and inclusive ""city living room"" in the campus.

The outdoor lighting adopts high-power multiple projection lamps to cast light accurately, which naturally strengthens the material of the curtain wall surface and the floating sense of space. The projection lamp on the column of the south facade is combined with the column groove to illuminate the floating eaves on the top without affecting the brightness planning of the column. The projection lamp of the North facade is hidden in the parapet, perfectly hiding the lamp.



The lighting adheres to the original design concept, expresses the welcome through the interior, expresses the depth through the cornice, weakens the barrier of the stone facade, and increases the thinking and expression of reflection on the lighting. The columns are weakened to express the depth relationship of cornices. The large steps have the scale of relatives. This sense of scale attached to the main body of the building forms the behavior perception between people and the main body of the building. The step side wall lamp allows the light flow to guide the behavior step space and define the space.



The lighting design refuses to be cold and dignified, Light fixtures are combined with architecture to realize the lighting demand and minimize the impact on facade. The order of architecture is expressed at night and integrated into surrounding buildings and mountains.



In the ideal night scene, groups of students are either debating academic or talking merrily. They are the protagonists of the space and act naturally. The mission of lighting is to provide a comfortable and appropriate environment and protect everyone's integrity and emotion, without overemphasizing and exerting pressure on the people in the space."
