A sensory project to celebrate “Mindful Wellbeing”.
Madera Garden, a heart-warming residential project consisting of a 26-storeys tower with 71 residential units, is elegantly composed in subtle Barcelona-style, and stylishly located in Ho Man Tin, a tranquil area in Hong Kong where proud cultural heritage and urban prosperity come together as one.
Living in an energetic city with all sorts of pressure and distractions, it is crucial for residents to have the time and space that allow them to get away from chaos and re-gain a peaceful mind at the end of each day. Madera Garden is the home of residents that encourages such time and space in daily living and reveals the core belief “true wellbeing is within daily experience enjoying with all our 5 senses". The architecture is designed with bold colours and geometric forms, not only in terms of architectural elements, but also through soft landscape design, giving our residents rich senses of aesthetics, smell and touch, as well as enjoyment of audio entertainment and tasting experience inside the Clubhouse.
We sought to create a wellness lifestyle for every resident in Madera Garden. This momentum has been applied from public areas to individual units. Starting from the mini farm at clubhouse with the "farm-to-table" concept to the window for natural lighting and air purifier at lift lobbies, we want our residents to reconnect with their inner peace and wellbeing. The green balcony in every unit is designed with specially tailored removable decking for providing flexibility for residents to install pot plants and herbs. Grabbing a drink at these balconies, with flow of fresh air and looking over the city view, will relax one's mind after a busy day of work.
We persistently explore innovative materials and apply technology advancements in this project. The photocatalyst latex paint to combat COVID-19 in this pandemic, and pioneered finger vein smart door lock (not just fingerprint one) for residential units, are both considered the first-time to be applied at residential projects in Hong Kong, which echoes our pursuit of body healthiness and mindful wellbeing.
