Imagine yourself walking into a space, greeted by a reception of warm turquoise and wooden accents. As you look around, the height of the ceiling and brightness of the room conveys a breathable balance – everything feels clean, bright and natural. You see a wall dressed in a marble pattern, resembling pebbles washed under a streaming river. Gentle music accompanied by the sound of waterfall flowing in the background…

We created a clinically safe and welcoming oasis for Exact Medical CT-Imaging and Endoscopy Centre through the use of colour, lights and materials. While medical engagement can often be stressful, an aesthetically rewarding space can elevate one’s mundane experience to a healing journey for the body and soul. By balancing defined lighting with a fresh colour palette in furniture and flooring, the design speaks of professionalism and a welcoming atmosphere, giving visitors the confidence in the service without the common impression of a sterile and uptight healthcare space.

These design codes of focusing to build a quiet ambience to shift tension away from patients continues to our hospital-grade antibacterial vinyl flooring and Covid-free wallpaper. Similar to how a stroll into wilderness clears ones’ mind, the use of art under nature-inspired narrative is another tool to alleviate one’s stress. Our central feature wall composed of fluid-art design suggested the idea of water, complimented by the floral-patterned wall near female changing room, all being highlighted by intricate indirect lighting. Together they added warmth and depth to the overall interior which accentuate your emotions. Aware that the impact of great design comes from all senses, we incorporated music with the sound of water to complete the tranquil experience.



We understand the difference from designing from good to great instil power in cultivating a better relationship between space and its users. Through the power of design and art, not only it is a centre for advanced medical services, it is also a safe oasis and wellness hub for those who need a sense of peace and rejuvenate.
