The house owner is a frequent traveler who often goes around the world and has stayed in various hotels. What he longs for is a home that is different from a hotel.

To him, every business trip is like a journey through time and space, making him feel like living in an airport.

In this case, the designer intends to create a relaxed, yet stylish and elegant living space, filling with warmth and a sense of belonging, so that the house owner can take a good rest when he returns.

At the entrance, the extended image created by the mirror and the LED lamp belt that goes across the corridor give people the impression of the travel terminal, awakening the house owner to who and where he is.

Wooden shutters are used in the living room so as to adjust the excessive sunlight and temperature from the west. The feelings of calm and leisure are further enhanced by the use of different decorating materials and the steady colour tone.

The dining room is another important area in the home, allowing the family and friends to gather and generate moments of happiness together.

Sliding doors are used to connect and separate the dining room, kitchen and study room, maximizing the space for better ventilation whenever necessary.

The study room is an area with great flexibility, making it possible for the house owner to work from home or host any overnight guests. During the day, it can be a closed and independent, or an opened and extended space for work. While at night, it can be turned into a guest room for family or friends to sleep in.

In order to help the house owner beat possible jet lag, a blackout curtain is used in the master bedroom so that he can have plenty of sleep even though in the daytime.

This case has passed the Green Design certification, taking care of the frequent traveler in a healthy way in this post-pandemic era.
