The inspiration came from the client himself. The first is that this space is the environment for him to get married and start a family, and the second is to satisfy his preference for a tea ceremony and the need to invite friends and guests. The designer focuses on life quality so that the occupants can achieve a stable state of mind. At the same time, the space is embellished with a subtle Japanese design in line with the spirit of the tea ceremony. Finally, the designer combines the tea ceremony to create a natural style of wood, and form a modern design to give the public space an open visual experience for gatherings. The project is based on the theme of wood grain, and the light and shadow are created by grating, architectural concrete, and glass. The subtle Japanese space also serves as a gathering space and collecting artworks. The cabinet in the foyer is specially designed to hold collectibles or paintings. There is also a light fixture to display the collection. The chandeliers in the foyer and dining room are made of architectural concrete. The surface of the architectural concrete is unadorned, echoing the natural style preferred by the client and the TV wall. In addition, the sliding door from the kitchen to the public area is a transparent grille, however, from the outside, it looks just like the mirror surface of the refrigerator, showing a visual extension. At the same time, the client can keep an eye on the safety of children playing in the living room through the transparent grille.
