The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live and work. Also, it has changed the relationship between the workplace and us.





With the increasingly blurred boundaries of workplace in the post-pandemic era, we have formed a hybrid model combining work from home and office. Therefore, the key points of the new workplace are how to enhance the collaborative working efficiency, how to proper establish the social relationships in the workplace, and how to improve the wellness and happiness of employees.





The design team led by Sean Lin has carried out a new renovation and design for Xiamen Haiao Group. The traditional workplace is transformed to a flexible and diversified space, and the color of wall and ceiling was changed from white to vibrant and fresh colors. With the new colors, textures and materials, they build a shared, open, romantic and vital working environment.





Xiamen Haiao Group, located in a commercial office building (Haicang District, Xiamen City), is committed to creating a comfortable and healthy working environment. Therefore, it selects electrically adjustable working desks and tables to meet the personal needs of employees. Meanwhile, different types of reading and leisure areas are set up in every office, which artful combines the reading, leisure, and social entertainment.





The design team uses the office as a carrier to convey the company's own spirit and create the its unique brand. The open office space, the various colors of the ceiling, lamps and wall cabinets, greatly increases the enjoyment of the space. And the large area partition using glass material can enhance the transparency and lighting of the overall working spaces, which helps employees find available spaces quickly and improve working efficiency. In a addition, the vibrant and transparent pantry maximizes the natural light and city views, and the small bar along the windows combines dining, relax and social entertainment, which creates a comfortable environment for employees and improves their happiness.
