URBAN XANADU

The project is located at the intersection of Shuxin Road and Chuangye Avenue, Shushan District, Hefei City. The south side of the building is adjacent to the city road, combined with the entrance and exit of the future community. The main functions of the building are elderly care housing, community activity center and property housing, and the east side is adjacent to the citizen park. The building has two floors, covering an area of 1247 square meters.



The design starts from the dimension of products, takes "Hui culture" as the contact point, and blends the culture and project characteristics of "Hui house" pattern, "Hui garden bonsai", "24 solar terms" and "brush, ink, paper and inkstone", so as to interpret and reproduce from the current perspective, and complete the cultural continuity and spatial inheritance. In combination with the east citizen park, the project will be divided into four courtyards, which will be based on and integrated with nature. At the same time, the Huizhou wood carving culture in Chengzhi Hall will be translated to form a wooden decorative symbol into the project, which will convey the positioning and tonality of the exquisite, elegant and luxurious project as a whole.



In order to better integrate the function with the environment, the building revolves around two sides. The elegant and delicate interface of the southern city combines display and function, giving the building a sense of quality. The east side faces the park. Through the horizontal overhanging eaves and continuous and transparent building facade, the space of indoor rest space+eaves gallery+park is connected in series, making the best use of landscape resources, forming a number of framed landscape spaces, one scene at a time. Combined with the affinity of wood grain board materials, it focuses on expressing the poetic experience of hidden and beautiful life in architecture.
