Simple Corner of Nature

The design breaks the traditional layout, using the light and earth color tone with green plants as the embellishment, wallpaper, imported furniture, special shaped lamps and French windows lead the natural light and outdoor scene to the indoor, creating a modern natural lifestyle. The goal of the project is to build a simple and cozy home for an IT professional.

The designer breaks the original four-room layout by removing one wall of a bedroom, making the living room, dining room and kitchen an open public space. The cloakroom is created with the moveable glass partition room at one side of entrance door, allowing the client family to store their luggage. The designer also places imported furniture and decorations at every corner of different areas, bringing positive impact to the overall space.

The three functional spaces-- living room, dining room and kitchen are fused in one by breaking down the partition walls. The dining table is added to the middle part of the kitchen island, allowing the client to interact with guests or children during cooking. With white and gray colors as the base, the green plants, carpet and sofa as the embellishment, the public space shows the simple rustic modern style. Being the highlight of the area, the extraordinary arches of the living room ceiling match with the huge French windows, reflecting the outdoor views and creating a bright and spacious living space. And wood veneer flooring is used in the whole project to let the warmth flow into the space.

In addition, the bed wall in the master bedroom applies imported flower pattern wallpaper, displaying the elegance with a ball-shape wall lamp in each side of the bed. All three bedrooms provide standard double bed, nightstand and dresser, but each has its uniqueness with different strong color tone used. The overall space adopts high quality imported furniture, shaped lamps and ornaments, which form a boutique-hotel-like, elegant and comfortable living space.
