Modern british colonial style living space

Retro British lifestyle and whiskey are fond memories of the owner who once lived in the UK. We tailored a set of ideal living spaces for single men for his residence in Taiwan, East Asia. Inspired by the style of the British Empire, the design combines traditional antique furniture with modern custom-made furniture to create a modern british colonial style.

The living room uses ring-shaped furniture to create a comfort space for socializing. The exquisitely hand-carved fireplace is the visual focus and loaded on top with owner's exotic collections which are full of memories.
The overall natural color palette of browns is infused with rich dark green, and the Herringbone parquet floor and white wood louver windows build up to the humanistic atmosphere to the space. Antique side cabinets are placed in every corner so that the owner can drink whiskey and enjoy life at any moment. This space retains the sense of tradition and historical years, but abandons the feeling of triteness, while keep it elegant and relaxed. The owner can aftertaste the leisure years in the UK while in East Asia.
