Qingdao Shilaoren Atour Hotel

Laoshan District of Qingdao is the location of this project. Taking advantage of the regional characteristics and the historical background of the area, the designer creates a comfortable, lyrical and elegant space for us by utilizing special and exquisite design methods with elements like bamboo, sea, cruise ships and so forth.
The basic concept of log tones generates a healthy quality of natural calm that is plain, clean, and inviting, while the lobby forgoes stunning colors and complex adornment. The volume is light and ordered, revealing the tension in the space, and the ceiling evokes the image of “bamboo” while also evoking the powerful beauty of early simplistic Zen with an elegant aesthetic expression, thus creating a sublime experience where “hands can touch stars” with dot matrix lighting design.
The front desk is design with the idea of a“Shanghai style boat”. Stone mesa and wood grain columns gleam are crisscrossing, offering a touch of relaxation to the room with their natural color and texture.
The straightforward, casual furniture which is soft and delicate complements the cozy, peaceful atmosphere.
The reading area in lobby takes“Bamboo Residence” as its central theme. The designer satisfies its functional attributes of leisure, reading, office, and business negotiations, while also enhances the plain character of bamboo, highlights the abstract and figurative art, and produces an old-fashioned, serene, and elegant space for soul purification.
The restaurant has a distinct moving line, establishing the unification of usefulness and beauty so that the entire establishment appears spacious and transparent. Warm and serene colors in the room give off a cozy and familiar sense of being at home. The dining table here is uncomplicated and smooth, and the posture of the seats is soft and relaxing. The above two elements complement each other, creating a comfortable and inviting dining ambiance. Thanks to the exquisite chandelier and nimble small window, the visual sense is enriched with meaningful senior beauty, releasing the power of life, and allowing people clean up the mood and enjoy their lives.
