By adopting a beveled design on the partition wall, the irregular contours of the partition wall are revealed and the original skewed layout is smoothened out. In addition, in the sofa area, steps are used to create storage space, while allowing for a layered effect from the floor. In the kitchen island, a movable cabinet is designed underneath the tabletop to satisfy the storage needs and can be versatilely transformed into a coffee/tea table based on the homeowner’s needs. In the dressing room of the bedroom, the arched horizontal solid wood sliding door with laser engraved S handle design enhances the refinement of the space. In the corner of the bathroom a glass mirror is recessed into the wall and the bathroom sink is lined with 3 cm of shimmering light from above, while the side of the living room allows for natural light to penetrate, offering a unique view from the entrance foyer.
Artistic, non-toxic latex paint is applied throughout the room and the soft, warm apricot color complements the space, endowing the home with a sense of elegance and peaceful tranquility. When the sunlight from outside penetrates into the house, it basks everything in splendid light. Under this warm and inviting atmosphere, the intertwined light and shadows form the most pleasant ambience of the space.

Due to the small size of the space itself, the use of color and the consideration of the continuous movement flow were considered in the design to rectify the original irregularity of the space. With the adept use of the façade in the design of the cabinetry on both sides of the wall, the space does not appear overly confined, enhances the magnifying effect on the space to meet the basic storage needs of the occupants. With ingenious lighting, the quality of life can be enhanced and the expression of the space can be made more lively.
While pursuing the details of the space, considerations on eco-friendliness has also been incorporated into the design thinking.
