This work is a nearly 17 meters long stainless steel railing on the bridge. The imagery being drawn here is not only the curve lines that reflect the natural scenery under the bridge, The designer also included some fiddle crab images incorporate into the water ripples curve design. Since kids have good instincts, the designer did a small scale research and invited ten kids, ages 4-10, to draw some fiddle crabs they saw right under this bridge. After analyzing the results, the designer redraw and incorporate their images into the design.

Not only considering the aesthetics, the cultural and ecological elements of the place were also added here. The redesigned railing not only improves the appearance, but also enhances the protection. The main body of the railings is full of curved lines, which are actually the water ripples seen under the bridge, and the purpose is to bring the scenery under the bridge to the bridge. With the sunlight, the shadow of the water ripple will have a chance to meet the fiddler crabs under the bridge.

Before creating this artwork, the designer try to chit chat with different Islanders. The Islanders talked about the birth rate on the island, which has declined for a while, but has risen in recent years. They said children are very important to them. Thus she would like to include some insight from kids into the artwork. On the other hand, why do the designer want to add the element of children? Because she has been engaged in art education for many years, she often visit different primary and secondary schools to have class observations. she also concern a lot about the development of children in drawing at different ages. Moreover, she once saw a villager dragging a large dog passing by, and there happened to be a car passing by, but the dog subconsciously avoided it and dropped two of its feet off the bridge. In the end, she and its owner worked together to pull it back. The redesigned railing not only improves the appearance, but also enhances the protection.
