Located in an urban metropolitan area has the advantage of multi-faceted windows and good lighting. Since this project is not for a long term stay, the demand of the furniture and cabinets can be reduced to a minimum and restore the openness of the space. The design team captured the bright and simple characteristic of modern style, and combined the elegant classical style and cast into a neoclassical space aesthetics. In response to the client’s expectation, that each area must have its representative elements and concepts, the entire space has a lot of high quality materials and rich color schemes, with suitable placement of totems and murals, which present vivid levels and strong visual sense, yet at the same time still retain the elegance and comfort.

Based on the site characteristic that has three-sided wrap-around balcony, and the re-arrangement of the layout plan according to the needs of the current client, the design team formed a design with views and abundant sunlight in each functional area.

Due to the great difference between the original layout and the needs of the client, demolition must be done before start the design process. The difficulties that need to be overcome in the process are the design and reconciliation of all decorative elements. On the one hand, the client’s imagination must be fully and specifically conveyed; while at the same time, the colors of each image must be balanced with each other to create a harmonious space.
