Elegant

Elegant is a multigenerational family residence where three generations live together. In order to enhance cohesion, practicality, and comfort within the household, the female homeowner has made the decision to reorganize their 30-year-old home. The main building consists of four floors, encompassing a living room, dining room, garden, and bedrooms, among other spaces. The overall design adopts a combination of large areas of white and wood grain tones, interpreting the entire residence in a blend of Japanese and modern styles. Additionally, to address the issue of the originally narrow and dim, often damp spaces, a special design element has been incorporated on the top floor. The glass bricks allow natural light to permeate into the home, creating an even distribution of sunlight throughout the stairwell, resulting in a visually brighter, airy, and comfortable ambiance.
