Afterglow

The project is a renovation of a 40-year-old apartment. As the original condition as well, the design team utilized techniques to highlight the strengths of the site and create a homey atmosphere.
In the social area, light tones are the base and curves eliminate imperfections, such as oppressive beams and pillars, stiff scene transitions, etc. The TV wall is made of wood veneer combined with a slit grille to create open-worked cabinets, which reduces visual oppression, creates a change of depth and light, and serves as a vista with the S-shaped wave at the end.
A large table is placed in the study room. Both husband and wife can use the space at the same time without being disturbed by each other. On the façade and under the table, curves provide a sense of liveliness and echo the social area. Although the interior is divided into different areas, the same elements create harmony and consistency.
