Huilongwan Guanyuan Spa

The corridor landscape is shaped by the waves of the sea, deconstructed and sublimated by light and shade, dismantling and reorganizing different lines and blocks, and using geometric language to construct a poetic space that is both dreamy and real. The designer extracts the sea moon and waves from the imagery of the sea, transforming the moon and the waves into a fusion of reality and imagination, creating a Zen-like beauty of water, sky, and the moon and sea shining together.

The designer has abandoned superficial artifice and used design techniques to infuse the space with a natural atmosphere. The combination of wall lines and textures and lighting is like a stone waterfall falling in layers from top to bottom, and the interplay of light and shadows is like the opening and closing flow of nature itself, creating a free and Zen atmosphere and building a silent and empty mountain within people.

The creation of a wabi-sabi space, where the water and the sky share colors, is a test of the designer's fine control of light and shadow. In this case, the designer has chosen a deep-colored glazed stone for the ceiling and floor to create a reflection of reality and to enhance the sense of extension of the space. The walls are made of textured shale to absorb the diffused afterglow, visually guiding people to focus their eyes naturally and touching their inner senses through the design context.

The designer understands the traditional oriental aesthetics of the pursuit of "time", who uses simple geometric units to build an exquisite group structure and makes the continuity of space a metaphor for the continuity of time, linking each space into a dynamic space-time circulation. In this way, the design allows people to enter the painting as if they were on a boat and a floating sea of dreams in which they can linger at will, wander uninhibitedly as their heart desire, and enjoy stars and moonlight.
