PRESTIGIOUS MANSION· Type D

This project relates to the interior soft furnishing design of a commercial residence model room. Geographically located in Shenzhen and adjacent to Wutong Mountain Scenic Area and Yantian Port Area, the model room has an interior area of 89m². For local residents of this international metropolis, the modern and fast-paced life surprisingly arouses their desire for a living space close to nature. For the purpose of this project, the MOOOMA design team uses impressionistic thinking to conceptualize the natural landscapes of Wutong Mountain and Yantian Port, fits it with the outdoor surfing theme, tailors a soft furnishing design program suitable for local natural landscapes within the framework of a modern, minimalist interior decoration, and confers the interior living space a relaxing, pleasant natural atmosphere. This is supposed to be the foremost finishing touch of the soft furnishing design program. Through color refining and analysis of Wutong Mountain and Yantian Port, these colors are placed to every detail (e.g.: foot mats, carpets, sofa sets, pillows) within the framework of beige soft furnishing tonality, ornamented with silver metallic color to deliver a natural, elegant and relaxing atmosphere. Notably Wiggle Side Chair is ingeniously added to the living room, a single chair with practical and decorative functions visually impacting with the round transparent glass coffee table in the center of the living room, partially soft and partially hard. Looking at the wall, the wall-hung painting seem to show the lush green scenery by gently opening shutters, delivering a layer-to-layer visual effect to the whole space. Following the veins of furnishings, the bedroom and multi-purpose room are well-arranged with books and ornaments, including surfing decorative painting, metal ornaments and indoor plants, signaling an agreeable life attitude. The extraction of local humanistic thought and natural style and the capturing of natural light and color are considered the narration of a sort of visual experience merged with nature. The indoor space of “home” contains the interests of the occupants, encompasses the nature of a city, and shows a different natural and modern style suited to every occupant.
