Hasbro Hong Kong Office

Hasbro, a traditional company, initiated a restack project to transition their office space for a modern way of working. The new office design innovatively caters to the aspirations of transforming the conventional workspace into a modern, dynamic, and collaborative environment.

The spaces were designed specifically to enhance collaboration and social interaction, as a creative attempt to address the previous lack of opportunities for engagement with other departments in the three-story office. Different areas were created on each floor, including client-facing area, playground area, quiet work area, and collaboration area, each with a distinct purpose.

The project was driven by the objective of fully showcasing Hasbro's brand identity through its many notable subsidiaries, while also incorporating local relevance and sustainability considerations to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience. Many different brand elements from Hasbro’s well-known subsidiaries, such as Cluedo, Jenga and Monopoly, were all cleverly incorporated around different sections of the office, such as meeting rooms, reception areas, and phone booths, in order to deliver a visually stunning and immersive working experience.

Additionally, the design team incorporated culturally relevant elements that are uniquely Hong Kong, such as traditional Hong Kong-style cafes, iconic local architectures, and local cultural elements such as neon lights. This approach not only reflects Hasbro's brand identity but also delivers a unique and memorable experience for employees and visitors alike.

This project also ensured that sustainability was a key consideration in the design process. To achieve this, we used many different sustainable materials and practices throughout the space, such as recycled materials, LED lighting, and energy-efficient technology. The team incorporated reclaimed wood-step seating into the design, and reused more than 80% of the existing furniture. Hasbro’s brand new office was developed with minimal environmental impacts and the culture of sustainability.

The final design is a true reflection of Hasbro's brand identity, and effectively promotes the values of collaboration, social interaction, and sustainability.
