HOTEL CONCEPT DESIGN AT HONG TANG BAY PLOT 19

Project Overview:
The project is located in Hong tang Bay, a beautiful coastal city in Sanya, Hainan Province, China, with the base facing the vast and magnificent seascape of the bay to the south. The north is surrounded by mountains and rich in natural landscapes. In the future, the site will be developed into a 333-room boutique resort hotel.
Masterplan layout:
The layout of the hotel is shaped by the smooth, curved linear tower layout. All rooms are guaranteed a south-facing view of the sea. It also forms an arrival garden as the open north entrance to drop off guests. The west side encloses a tranquil sunken water feature garden and an expansive pool play area on the south side. The building volume, shaped by conforming to the height limit conditions, forms a relationship of high east and low west volume, makes the hotel like a cruise ship sailing to the rising sun.
Façade design:
The hotel is perfectly designed to adapt to the tropical coastal climate conditions of Sanya, and the façade adopts a movable grille shading system, creating a new image of a dynamic coastal façade that is like a sparkling light. By setting up guest rooms with seaside balconies, public corridor terraces, and roof garden spaces on different floors and rooftops, a rich and multi-dimensional tropical coastal resort experience is created.
