Taoyuan Service Area

Zhucheng is home to the Chinese dinosaurs, so our design was inspired by dinosaur eggs, and the whole building looks like a hatched dinosaur egg from above. The texture of its top is extracted from the dinosaur skin texture and dinosaur bones. The façade of the building is designed to incorporate elements of fossilized dinosaur bones and ribs, with the roof and façade elements combined like a giant dinosaur skeleton.
The design of the top of the building adopts two kinds of texture design, which respectively represent the order of material existence and the spiritual life needs of the Chinese in Shun culture. The shape of the top of the building is also taken from the Möbius strip, symbolizing the long history of Shun's moral culture in China.
The building's facade is also inspired by the Peach Grove. The building looks like a Peach Grove from a human perspective and is in line with the history of the village of Taoyuan. When visitors see this Peach Grove, they will think of the Taoyuan village .
We used deconstruction to reconstruct the shape of the circle in a way that extended the commercial use of the project and allowed for a better flow of people.
The design of this project fully reflects the regional culture, integrating the Zhucheng culture and the microcosm of Taoyuan village into the architecture, landscape and interior design. A variety of curved glass curtain walls are used in the design to allow visitors to enjoy the scenery of the mountains while resting. Deconstruction makes the building more unique; the patchwork of shapes and the transformation of forms are like bright lighthouses on the way.
The Oval inner courtyard is designed in the middle of the complex building to create the inner courtyard landscape which symbolizes the long history of Emperor Shun culture. Enrich the service area experience space and create a quiet outdoor space on the high-speed line.
