Huzhou University Nanxun Affiliated Primary School

This project is located in Nanxun Town, Huzhou City. It has an approximate length of 273 meters from east to west and an approximate length of 175 meters from north to south. The entire plot is triangular in shape and occupies an area of 3.2 hectares. To the west of the site is Fengshun Road, which has heavy traffic, and it is necessary to avoid noise that may interfere with the teaching area in order to create a quiet teaching environment. To the northwest is a residential building, and appropriate setbacks are required to meet the daylight spacing requirements with the residential building. On the south side of the site, there needs to be a suitable setback to create a campus entrance plaza. Additionally, the site should make use of the parking lot on the east side to avoid traffic congestion. The site for this project is shallow in depth but wide in width. Therefore, in the site layout, we fully utilize the longitudinal width, with the administrative center as the hub, connecting the high-grade area, middle-grade area and low-grade area. Based on the relationship between active and quiet zones and the prevailing monsoon wind direction, the sports and recreational areas are positioned on the northwest side.
Within the campus, there will be a separation of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Faculty and staff vehicles will enter and exit through the northwest entrance, while students will use the main southern entrance and the eastern entrance. To avoid congestion during peak hours in the morning and evening, a pedestrian bridge will be constructed on the east side to connect to the parking lot.
This project consists of a four-story main building, with some parts extending to five stories.
