D'ONE

D’ONE is a small but exquisite packaging design for one donut. It enhances experiences to enjoy a donut.

The packaging design includes a fork, a donut, and a plate. The bottom carton not only serves as a container for the donut, but also transforms into a beautiful plate when it is unfold. D’ONE brings surprises when consumer open the packaging! It also solves flavor mixing problems, for example glazes, frostings, or sprinkles toppings will not make a mess. The unique dodecagon shape of the design avoids the packaging from rolling around, and is easy to stack on a shelf. The goal is to create a clean and modern design, which focus on the product itself— donut.

The design is made of 100% eco-friendly materials. Paper carton is made of 100 lb recycled Bristol paper; copy and pattern is made of soy-based ink; fork is made of sustainable bamboo; clear window is made of biodegradable film. When the packaging is produced on paper mill, the dodecagon-shaped dieline can be puzzled closely like a big modular shape. It leaves little wast of paper. Dimension of the D’ONE packaging design is 100mm(W) X 100mm(D) X 35mm(H).
